I emailed Trangia regarding the multi-fuel w/ the smaller 27 Trangia and here's their reply:
"You can use X2 to your 27 stove. But you should be cautious with the heat... If you use it outside in cold climate (which its intended for) it should not be a problem

Since this filter is delicate and won't operate when frozen, what will your pre-snow winter filtration system consist of?
I haven't seen a carbon attachment for this set up. Is this a deficiency in the product, particularly regarding taste.
