I couldnt have said it better. it is just a fan showing appreciation for an artist of a song when we do remixes. I dont think any person doing a remix is trying to disrespect the song - but some people take it so personally, its all good though - and thanks for listening to the remix- i still find this live version a little long but nice

It was madonna that killed the careers of this group - and it was because of her resemblence to Madonna. Madonna was having none of that and killed this group.

the song also went to #23 on the Bill board disco / dance charts as well, when released.

once prince left his older friends and went more commercial, songs like this dissappeared - his electronic dance jazz is still 1 of a kind and almost impossible to catagorize.

you know what - i watched your video and his. you seem like you are walking on egg shells in the way you speak. I think you are really trying not to step on anyone's feelings. If I saw you I might think you was gay, and thats the other problem, we tend to judge with out finding out , and use looks to discriminate. so its nice that you replied to him this way and stayed respectful

thanks - the more i played with it, the more I wanted to restructure it and extend it. I actually did another version with some added production, but this one is doing so well here i am ok with it, and i had not seen Breakin bad until i started reading the comments - thanks for the nice comment.

what i mean is using words like jungle and native can sometimes have double conotations.Like a missionary that visits a country and does it with the natives, I am a read Divine fan, and have this 12 and am going to remix it soon - i was 20 when i bought it - the first time i played it- i liked it but still cringed a little as a black man, thats all.

this used to be 1 of my go to songs as a dj when it came to funky sounds.

thanks again - actually the sound cleanliness is due to the conversion to video at the rate I use. its you tube. and keep me posted on how it is going with tinkering with music and older songs. Everything old is new again and older songs are making club comebacks as well as people wanting to hear different version of there favorite songs. - booming bass was added as I know that Elton has many disco fans that like a harder beat.(hit me with an email) might be able to give you some mixing tips

OMG - i have this and almost every other Sylvers album ( check my page for a Free Style remix) yes, this album was about 2 years too late, it didnt unitlize the groups harmonies. NO LEON, the new wave beats were already over used by that time. the new look as well, almost like when the village people did it. it was totally rejected by the public, and the group was dumped, and are now unsung.

i did see the Olympics - I didnt know about the Itunes though - WOW good for them - it does show that even if new artists usurp classic sounds - they only borrow it, the original always shine threw.

i am going to do a remix of the remix as it is much too short - I hope you dont mind if I add it to your page as a video response when done - my nephew showed this to me and the auto tune is quite funny, ANYbody can now be a singer.
