Here's a tip...spot the damn things. Especially if you're on the ground! You see a jet fly overhead, take 2 seconds and spot it for your team. Makes it easier for the pilots too. Here's a better tip...be the engineer, lay a boatload of mines down. When you get a chance to respawn in a jet, do it....
