As mentioned below, it was Gus Gossert on WPIX=FM who introduced this great record were it not for him this song would truly have been forgotten. Gus's career on ny radio was short but 40 yrs later rememberd so well by his fans.

this was the first version of this classic i heard since my dad had this album, and while there are a couple of other versions i prefer, i will always appreciate the great night club feel and phrasing of this song.
