Awesome job. If I were a network chief I'd throw enough money to quadruple your salary and hire you to do the whole series!

Ok, part 2 now. They recorded in Japan, then probably had to cart around the tapes with them for a few months...print through happens with signals of +4 dB and upwards and if they're wound like they're supposed to be, tails-out, print through would be heard as ghosting or echoes. Wish I could h...

@ExtremeBogom I say the same thing about players stuck in Pentatonic Idioms as well...no growth or evolution, just stagnance. The thing about Holdsworth has more to do with rapid, innovative improvisation played over way more challenging chord changes. Ever listened to Giant Steps? Each beat ...

Almost every electric guitarist alive these days both owes a huge debt to and holds a fear of Jeff Beck...it's like the universe speaks through him somehow.

In the mid 80s Billy Duffy, Johnny Marr, Charlie Burchill kept the guitar at the fore. This tune probably influenced them...nice guitar all through. Well written, and performed. Nice piece of work. Nods to Orpheus and Eurydice.

When I first heard this I loved it...haunting, yearning, searching tune. In hindsight, I wish David Tickle would have had more time to better develop Eric's tone for the album but the songs shine nonetheless.
