Robert Taylor, Jr (a.k.a. "The WoOoOo Man") is an American entertainer who's goal is to inspire and spread love and peace to people of all ages through music and dance. Robert was born and raised in Coney Island. Since childhood he always loved any aspect of music and dance (vocally and physically). Some of Robert's past credits include national TV shows like "American Idol" season 3 (as a singer), "So You Think You Can Dance" season 8 (as a dancer-2011), "MTV's 'Say What? Karaoke' (as a singer-winning 2 shows and making it to the finals2003/2007), MTV's "VMA" with Shakira, "Kat Deluna's 'Whine Up'" music video (as a dancer-2007), and the national tour of "Hairspray" (as a singer/dancer/actor-2008).

Robert has graduated Marymount Manhattan College with a B.A. in dance and a minor in musical theatre. He has studied acting as well as dance (ballet, modern, jazz, tap).

He is also a 5 time NYC underground music showcase winner These shows are:

1) "Faces In The Crowd" (twice)
2) "Mental Supreme (training camp showcase)"
3) "Roc The Mic" hosted by Monse from hot 97 4)
4) "Protege Magazine"

Robert has performed for the late King Of Pop, Michael Jackson, in 2002 @ Webster Hall (NY) for Michael's protest party. The group that Robert performed with was called 'Uneti', which consisted of 5 group members that sing and dance. Shortly after, Robert began training with hiphop with the Amountboyz (Ant Boogie and A Dubz) who have performed for Mario, 3LW, P.Diddy, Keisha Cole, and Madonna) just to name a few. After training with the Amountboyz (studying the styles of choreography as well as the elements of hiphop) Robert performed with them as an honorary member of the group. Robert was also a part of Jamie Jackson's group. Then Robert began training with Jared Grimes (who is currently teaching @ BDC now as an instructor). Jared has selected Robert to be a part of the Broadway Underground company. Robert has also been trained within the elements of hiphop and choreography by Bam, Brian Green, 'Future', Ephrat 'Bounce' Asherie, Eric Negron, and Spex (who are also currently instructing @ BDC).

Robert is now a part of the guest faculty at Broadway Dancer Center as a kids' instructor as well as a guest sub for adults. He has subbed for the following (2007-present):

1) Gio Hubela - 'Iconic' (America's Best Dance Crew -MTV)
2) Jamie Jackson (former member of Rhapsody's company)
3) Jermaine Brown (who has danced for Jennifer Lopez)
4) Rhapsody (who has done work for Cassie, Beyonce, etc)
