I'm 24....
Still can't believe it how i've aged so fast.
I came from a typical South Texas hispanic family.
All too proud and ignorant to be true believers of anything.
I guess the their religion could mostly be considered Catholic.
As with your typical hispanic family.
No true belief, though. Just the kind that go to Bingo, make the sign of the cross and light a candle every time a blessing is needed. You know the kind with a particular saint, color, Jesus, or Virgin Mary.
Pure idolatry in MY opinion.
The kind that really never considered making something prosperous for the next generation, u know?
Just lower class everyday people just trying to keep everyone fed and pay the rent.
A family where the main goal was to go to school everyday and just graduate from high school one day.
Anything afterwards??? Good luck.
To be able enough to get and keep a good job to keep paying the bills for the rest of your life.
No purpose. Just raising the kids and making it to another day.
Whether it be a gift or just a genetic accident, I found it kind hard to act like this way of believing made any actual sense in the long run.
Quite frankly, I'm just not that stupid. Guess I was born with more common sense than most people.
Jesus Christ above all is KING.
Although I understand that opinions may vary and maybe I'm still being limited to what I know, but to this very second in all eternity,
HE is the ONLY one who has shown me the way to GOD.
So for more reasons that i wouldn't even try counting
CHRISTIANITY is my devoted worship and religion.
However, as God has shown me through his Son, Jesus Christ,
I believe that God uses the many, many elements in this world and throughout the entire universe.
So, although most religions conflict with Christianity as far as the accuracy of the truth, the beliefs of many other religions seem to agree and have similar values.
BUT I DON'T KNOW EVERYTHING.
WHAT I DO KNOW IS:
Jesus Christ brings a message of eternal life, love, justice, and peace.
So I guess anyone who can agree with me on those values alone shares the same ultimate purpose that I believe in as well.
Christ wants us to continuously grow and mature in the spirit so that we may truthfully excel to the next dimension where God exists. So it is my responsibility as well as the responsibility of every believer to keep His purpose first in all that we do.
And that means doing more than praying every day.
It means doing everything within our ability that God has given to us to continue to evolve spiritually and as a species.
There is no doubting that the physical body is just the vehicle for transporting the soul to the next dimension. So we must evolve (even as a species) until God decides that we have done all that that He has called for us to do in whatever revelations he has chosen us to do fufill.
"It's all Revelations, people.".:)
One long ass revelation from the beginning to the end.
I remain constant in growing in this way every day.
because I believe that these are the "last days" finally being revealed before our very eyes.
No longer can the Holy scriptures be considered untrue.
it's all happening RIGHT NOW. Only the blind at heart fail to see.
So until the next revelation is fufilled. May the true Word of God , peace love and prosperity be with you.
