I've got a bullmastiff mastiff mastino and an am.bull all went to classes got there exam's and they are not the easiest breed's. You hate hunting, but have a dog. Dog's eat meat unless you give them vegan food which is bad for them no matter how you spin it. They are carnivores. So, your dogs meat, or at least the VAST majority of non-dry dog food comes from a factory farm. Factory farms are the worst conditions imaginable for an animal. Way worse than a life in the woods. Factory farms are also horrible for the environment.

Hunting by contrast is a very natural act. We've hunted for hundreds of thousands of years. Wolves hunt. It maintains populations, and provides us with a very large amount of food. You say we don't respect the animal we kill. That is absolutely false. Would you say that to Native Americans too? I don't take pleasure in killing AT ALL. I take pleasure in being self sufficient.
