I'm heavily into old movies from the 40s and 50s. Favourite actors include Bette Davis, William Holden, Deanna Durbin, Gene Tierney, Dana Andrews, Jeanne Crain, and many others.
I also enjoy collecting material relating to Australian TV shows of the 60s and 70s, whether it be rare footage, paper-related items like "TV WEEK", "TV TIMES" etc. Gradually I'm writing a book on the subject. Shows I'm especially interested in are: "Adventure Island", "Magic Circle Club", "Riptide" (Ty Hardin), "Division 4", "Matlock Police", "Homicide", "Young Talent Time" (the early days), "Number 96", anything with Grigor Taylor...much more.
Beyond Australia, I enjoy "Hawaiian Eye", "The Wild Wild West", "Lost In Space", "Riptide" (Perry King), "Land Of The Giants", "Starsky & Hutch", "The Partridge Family", "Hart To Hart", "Catweazle" etc
70s music: ABBA, David Cassidy, Olivia Newton-John, Debbie Byrne, Jamie Redfern.
Seeking: "Adventure Island" memorabilia, Jamie Redfern clips/interviews from his time in the US, episodes of "The Dean Martin Show", "Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour", "Donny & Marie"...Have heaps of material to swap.
"Miss Tinsley" is the name of a character from my favourite film of all-time: "Whatever Happened To Aunt Alice?" with Geraldine Page.
