About Me:
Hometown:
Spinners End
Country:
United States
Interests:
Archaeology, History, Harry Potter (Snape = yum), Museums, Theater, Rocky Horror, Eddie Izzard, Monty Python, Weird Al, anything old, the 80's, lots of crap.
Movies:
Lost, Little Britain, Monty Python's Flying Circus, Family Guy, and South Park, I don't really watch other shows that much, maybe the occasional show on like the history channel or something. Movies: The Goonies, An Awfully Big Adventure, Rocky Horror Picture Show, all Harry Potter movies, Sweeney Todd, all Indiana Jones movies (except the last one, what the hell were they thinking?!), lot's of the classics from the 80's, Quills, all the Muppet movies (Jim Henson and Frank Oz are still some of my favorite people) some classic Disney movies (Walt Disney is another to add to the list of fav. people), Most Alan Rickman movies ('cause he's hot!) and lots more.
Music:
Led Zeppelin, Queen, Cyndi Lauper, Weird Al, Heart, Enya, The Eagles, CCR, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, The Doors, Traveling Wilburys, nearly all Classic Rock, Classical Music(i.e. Beethoven, Bach, etc.), musicals that aren't too annoying or over dramatic (yeah, I know that kinda limits them), A.L.W. Phantom of the Opera is my fav. the original cast, Sweeney Todd - what a great movie btw -lots of 80's music, good 60's and 70's music(no disco!), and all around random stuff.
Books:
The Monk by Matthew Lewis, Phantom by Susan Kay, the classic book by Leroux is great too, but Kay's is something special, all the Harry Potter books (if you don't know who it's written by I wont bother to tell you), Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë, The Once and Future King by T.H. White, Treasure Island and Trapped by R.L. Stevenson (still really good, even as I get older), Titus Andronicus (I do so adore Tamora, go rent the movie Titus - so good), Hamlet, Othello, Macbeth, and Henry V by Shakespeare (among my top fav Shakespeare), Sphinx by Robin Cook, The Mysteries of Udolpho by Ann Radcliffe, The Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet (I read it years before Oprah ever liked it, when I was about 17), and so many more. Also all kinds of history books, nothing with too much romance it bores me, I like mostly books with drama, violence, dark themes, adventure, action, or I like the complete opposite light, amusing, and funny, as long as there's still not too much romance. As long as it's well written, and manages to hold my attention I'm just about up for anything. Can you tell I like to read? Stay in school Kiddies - God forbid one day I may be your teacher, and I do not suffer fools gladly.
