I'm not absolutely certain of this, but I think the Hank release is later than the Ball 1017. Year is 1963, quite certain of that. Mary

His voice is uniquely sublime. Don't particularly like his music, too wishy washy with that commercial feel that really doesn't do it for me. However the guy is immensely talented, he's got SOUL! Shame he couldn't be fully soulful in order to get into the charts.
