Direct hit by tornado! Storm chase (May10, 2010) Arkansas City, KS

Storm chasers David Toner, Jason Blum, and Cody Hudson are forced to ride out a direct hit by a tornado, after their truck slides off into a ravine, leaving them immobilized in the path of the oncoming tornado. I later overlaid our precise GPS coordinates on GRLevel 2:Analyst, using the archived level 2 radar data, and also compared against the official damage path assessment reports... and I can confidently say it WAS a direct hit. The tornado in question was 200 to 400 feet wide, and left a damage path of 4.3 miles long.
