To whom it may concern,

My name is Nicolé DeMarco and I am looking for representation as an actress. I am an unknown, I also know that a lot of unknowns want to start out with a major part in a movie; I am not one of these. I want to work my way up from the bottom of the ladder. I will be an extra, do commercials or modeling. Once I have gotten my feet wet I would like to work my way into bigger roles. I am an eager actress with a head full of determination and always looking for fun, exciting and challenging roles to broaden and strengthen my abilities as an actress and I always welcome constructive criticism.

Knowledge is power as they say and I use this cliché to my advantage for I am currently a junior at Weber State University as a musical theater major. Being at Weber has given me a chance to broaden my horizons and really challenge myself. In the time I have been at Weber State University amazing opportunities have presented themselves; one of these opportunities was working with renowned Broadway talent Elizabeth Hansen. While working on her work in progress, ENCHANTED APRIL based on the book of the same name I played the Italian maid, Francesca, and had to learn Italian in three days. Learning Italian in three days is a very challenging and very liberating experience. Even more challenging is being a drug addict when you have never been or experienced the effects of what narcotics can do on a body. In September of 2009 I was in Weber State University's AAT production of PLAY IN A DAY and was in Marc Nielson's play I SAW YOU PUNCH A NUN in which my role was a drug addict. Now being a drug addict is very difficult when you have never been one to begin with, but what is even harder about playing this part was that I had from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM that night to research how to be a drug addict. Another part of knowledge is power; for me this means learning things that are physically as well as mentally challenging, which is why I have learned first level fencing. Some of the warm-ups for fencing are very challenging on the body. Fencing is very physical and gets you into shape very quickly. The good thing is that this skill came in handy for me when I was in Austin Archer's play CAROLS again for Weber State University's PLAY IN A DAY. As you can see I am more than willing to go the distance and stand out when it comes to roles I am offered.
