CARA - Community Animal Rescue & Adoption is a non profit, no kill animal shelter in Jackson, MS.
CARA does not discriminate when it comes to the animals taken in at our shelter. We also do not judge if their life is worthy for another day. We take in animals with all sorts of problems, sickness or those just deserted. CARA gives them medical care, love, shelter and food then finds the best homes for these homeless lives.
CARA is completely dependent upon donations to keep caring for these animals. We receive no city, goverment or federal funding.
