wood this old is extremely expensive and WANTED. There may be some rot on the inside, thats normal..it is over 400 yrs old :) the useable wood could be worth as much as 30 dollars a board foot....and if its figured???? the sky is the limit. If you get the other tree down, show us will ya...

HAVE an adjustible stroke. more stroke means more power. and i think the huge paddles dont look to cool...maby somthing more streamlined or just totally redesigned

@electronics740 you have to heat it first, then cool it slowly..it will then be annealed. As it is, the file is hardened and is very very hard to drill. Unless you have bits for hardened steel. Better to just heat it red hot, all of it..then cool it as slowly as possible.
