About this user

I started making videos in 2009 so that I could become part of the community of people with MS who hang out here. It has brought me so much joy, and so many special friends into my life that it almost makes me glad to have been diagnosed.

This is our silver lining.

Having MS (or NMO) hasn't been easy, or nice. I've had some really rough times. Even at the darkest moments though, there were still so many reasons to smile. The hardest part was adapting to a new way of doing things, but once that happened I realised things weren't all that bad...

I'm happy to say that I'm doing really well right now and enjoying every moment of the mobility I thought I'd lost.

I work part time as an architect. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, my dog Pepper, mucking around in the garden, making things, making music, writing. Mostly I enjoy the slowness of time, taking notice of the wonder in life. Something else MS has made me appreciate.
