Music:
Dir En Grey, Dragon Ash, Gackt, HYDE, hide, L'Arc-En-Ciel, Utada Hikaru, Umibe by L'Arc-En-Ciel, VAMPS, X JAPAN, etcetera. I like lots of classical/instrumental music from famous composers such as Mozart, Bach, and Tchaikovsky. I like hard rock cutting edge as well, and I think the combonation of these two types of music coincide rather lovely and mysteriously together.
Books:
I read often, but usually it's a profile from a website or a quick news story from a tabloid. Sometimes I attempt to read in different languages, such as Russian. I like classic books, stories, and poetry from the early 20th century and back (Mark Twain, Emily Dickinson, Shakespeare). I don't read these often, but when we cover them in class, I am inspired and intrigued by these writers' works.
