Just watched the War Bastard vid...just as good as this one...I hope I was right to refer to the backing vocals on the Sadistic Scientist track as female vocals and not a male band member who'd just cut himself shaving.

Excellent voice, excellent album.....always loved this...I remember when I first heard...I must have played the whole this to death over and over again...wunderbar.

The best version of this song (by a mile) is the Marti Webb version, with all due respect to Sarah, she can't hold a candle to Marti's more natural version. This sounds too flowery when simplicity is the best solution. In fact the whole album is expertly done.

Great to see Jake Thackray songs appreciated and what's more done so fantastically well......TOP WORK
