@smalin actually, although what you say is technically correct, the expression "to sound MIDI" is often used to describe poorly sampled and mechanical sounding music. This often comes from a lack of dynamics in MIDI controlled sounds and just general bad sampling.

@dabi037 Rubbish. of course it needs a hard drive. Where would the core system files be stored then? It's just the user's data that is stored in the cloud - docs, music, photos etc.
Also Chrome OS can run on pretty much any standard computer hardware available and won't be locked down to Google's...
