About Me:

I'm an acolyte of Syd Barrett. It's a great place to be. The year is 2025 and death artist, Natasha Blockhead's death mask, with ketchup finger stains (the impression was made in the lunch hour) has been acquired by Saatchi. Payment being the last remaining acres of rainforest in S. America. The Rolling Stones museum has developed a snag. The alabaster walk in lips have a fault. 90 year old Mick Jagger commented, You don't want my lips to fall down now do ya? The City square mile now named, A Cloud in Trousers, after a Mayakovsky play. The latest mosque to be built in the Nevada desert has caused controversy with the community. The building materials came from Israel and building engineer Hank Bin Laden (no relation) was quoted, Well business is business. The British Euro, similar to the Euro Euro takes a tumble. British Prime Minister, Gordon Ramsey is questioned over the restaurants and food for votes scandal. My great grandaughter asks me what an Orangutan was. I show her a film of it and she bursts into tears. To the present, 2009. Always searching for the interesting Syd Barrett video.Film, Art, Books and Music are main interests. Seen a lot of Music artists from the early seventies. Saw Bowie quite a few times in 72/73 ditto Lou reed, Iggy Pop. Same Sex Pistols in 1976. Always checking out interesting film. Anything on Nomadic tribes, especially North China, Kirghis, and Tibet. Fascination with Native American culture and Nature. Like amusing one-liners, ie. John Hughes film and Mike Leigh (Meantime, Abigail's Party) To quote John Hughes Always have a point, it makes it so much more interesting to the listener. Also think John Lydon (Rotten) say's a lot of sense. Well he's a Finsbury Park boy isn't he and I am from East London. Life is a load of pointless exercises made to feel something important is going on (Philip Larkin) Poet novelist and sometime librarian. Finally - Anyone know where the video by American Granny (she is an 81 year old Chinese Buddhist) is. It's on My Space but she said she would load up on YouTube. It has played to American Film Theatres in 2007. Asian Cinema etc. She was staying with her family in New Jersey. It's a terrific video. One incredible person.
