About Me:
The Minstrels of Hope, composed of 13 young ladies, aging 16-23 years old. These individuals decided to reach out to the poor in some depressed areas of Manila, and share their skills and talents. Coming themselves from urban poor families, and having been helped in different ways by varied sources over the past several years, they have come together to share their best with the least, making their potential available to the poorest of the poor, as a way of giving back in whatever little way of what they have received. In this way, the nature of this endeavor has makes a difference.
As a choral group, they have performed at different occasions such as anniversaries, reunions, that while creating an awareness of their plight as underprivileged and make their as means of livelihood, they are restoring their sense of dignity and enabling their trust and strong confidence in themselves.
