Thank you for your email, and I'm pleased to hear of your interest in roller coasters. In answer to your questions:

"What creates the sense of amazement and thrills in rides?" It is to allow ordinary members of the general public to experience sensations outside the scope of the normal everyday world in which they live.

"What matters most: Theming, Emotions, Height, G-force or simply looking 'Flashy'?" It is a combination of all these things. Everybody has different expectations to fulfil their entertainment needs, and a balance of all these things is important.
