@xoxokame97 and where, exactly , did you see the front half of the ship? The front end of the ship could have easily have split away from the scene (not seen) they showed. The rear part did go almost exactly as it showed as the front part drifted to the bottom.

Amazing how many people are referring to WWII and the provocation of US into it through the sinking of this ship. It is in no way related since the Lusitania was sunk in 1915. The documentary is talking about WWI.

I'm sorry but this Holmes comes across as a bit dim. Can't tell Seldon from Baskerville, can't distinguish bog from dry land (this is a man of keen observation). They screwed with the story too much as well. Overall not a bad production but it's just not the same calibre as Brett and Granada.

@toastsplosion this happened well after Reichenbach. In the series, that was the end of series one, with David Burke playing Watson. Starting with The Empty House (following his return) Edward Hardwicke played Watson. If Hardwicke is playing Watson, it's post-Reichenbach.

@srinibgl He's helping loosen the rope by hoisting up the body from the taut position. He's not pulling it down (as Allyndeimos said - rope was tight and it wouldn't have gone down any further. By lifting the body up, they could loosen the rope so he could be lowered.

I was in stunned disbelief when I found "The Maggie Smith Collection" (this movie included) in my local library. I took it home (3 discs) and watched everything about 5x each.
