I'm sorry but this Holmes comes across as a bit dim. Can't tell Seldon from Baskerville, can't distinguish bog from dry land (this is a man of keen observation). They screwed with the story too much as well. Overall not a bad production but it's just not the same calibre as Brett and Granada.

@srinibgl He's helping loosen the rope by hoisting up the body from the taut position. He's not pulling it down (as Allyndeimos said - rope was tight and it wouldn't have gone down any further. By lifting the body up, they could loosen the rope so he could be lowered.
