What we believe! The Didache is the teachings of the Apostles. It reads: There are two ways, one of life and one of death, but a great difference between the two . The way of life, then, is this: First, you shall love God who made you; second, love your neighbor as yourself. Matt 21:37-40 Jesus was asked the question. Master, which is the great commandment in the law. Jesus said unto him, Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first of the great commandments. And the second is like unto it, Thou shall love thy neighbor as thy self. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Paul said our preaching and our teaching cannot be with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Holy Ghost and of Power. Jesus left a Glorious church and that is what He is returning for. He would not recognize the church of today. What some people are passing off as Christianity is shameful. We must love God and love people, we have to model Him. Jesus is the only Model. We tell people to come anyway they are which is good. However they shouldn't stay that way. If Jesus does not change you something is seriously wrong. This thing about being yourself, is the problem. Self needs to die. Less of you and more of Him, none of you and all of Him, this is the Gospel. This is not some watered down version of the Gospel. People say well God will use you the way you are is a lie. Jesus has to transform you. The sinful nature and character is enmity against God. No transformation no power. Just flesh, The church has become to much like the world. Where is the difference between clean and unclean Where is the difference between holy and unholy. The Church in ACTS is our example. Today, tomorrow and forever. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.
