The Bible authoritatively says that we are to despise not prophesyings, but to test all things and hold fast to what is good. Ellen White passes the Bible test of a prophet who was sent to guide God's people in the last days. So, her writings are authoritative.

I don't see anything that's abominable here. This isn't the same shut door theology that many Adventists believed immediately following the great disappointment.

This version's alright. I actually have it on my iTunes. My favorite cover hands down is the one by Entropy64. It's hard to beat the original, though.
