@yanreurriek I cannot agree with you any more. She is so overrated, and because of those beautiful faces with mediocre voices, it is hard for some much better singers who look uglier than them to perform on the stage... Worse time for the bel canto lovers.

I have a feeling that she is singing Wagner, not Donizetti.... Strange feeling. No coloratura, just plain singing with sombre voice. I wonder why this opera by Netrebko won so much applause. She is just not suitable to Coloratura roles....Lack of techniques and the voice is too somber.

Her problem is that her German is too bad to recognize. She takes too much care of her high notes but forgets her pronunciation.... Bad bad bad. I can't believe it was recorded in Semperoper!!
