About Me:
 
Mina Kontogeorgiou was born in Munich. Raised in a musical environment she worked early on with music learning the piano and the violin and later studying classical singing as Soprano at the Music Academy of Athens National Conservatory with Misa Ikeoutsi, specializing in Oratorio and Lied. She completed her studies and been awarded her music diploma with distinction and 1st prize. She also studied Drama and Theater in the class of Costas Paschalis. As a soloist in repertoire she includes works of classical, modern and jazz composers. She has taken part in musical recordings and broadcasts of the Greek Radio and Television, the TV station SKAI, has collaborated with the Palace Music of Athens, the Music Hall of Thessaloniki, the Odeon Palace Theatre, Theatre Parnassus, Theater Hora, Athens Festival, the Festival of Sacred Music of Patmos, the National Gallery, the Municipal Theatre of Rhodes, the Municipal Theatre of Larissa, the Athens Conservatory and the Atheneum, by interpreting works and operas of the composers Mozart, Puccini, Bellini, Strauss, Mendelssohn, Schumann, Schubert , Brahms, Forre, Monteverdi, Bach, Vivaldi, Haendel, Steve Reich, Ennio Moriconne, Dimitri Desilla. http://1821.skai.gr/main/music
