Miller Miller Miller & Sloan

Miller Miller Miller & Sloan blasted onto the New York City scene in 1979 with the harmony-rich, blue-eyed funk/pop sound of three brothers, Dan, Barney (guitars) and Mike (drums), alternating lead vocal duties, and their childhood buddy, Blake Sloan, on bass.

They reached their zenith in the early 80's, opening for artists like The Clash, Tom Tom Club, Chaka Kahn, and playing all the big local venues during that vibrant period (The Ritz, CBGB's, etc..)

MMM&S disbanded in 1993, but later that decade Barney formed a pop/grunge band, Astro Chicken, with Mike on drums. 2001 saw the birth of neo-soul band New Soul Orchestra, http://newsoulorchestra.com -- fronted by Mike, with Dan behind the scenes.
