The perfect blend of cockiness, obnoxiousness, and humor, they fully live up to their no-image image, yet still sound good, and consistently pack each venue they play.

Forming in 2000 The Degenerates have quickly become one of the premier local bands in the Metro-Hartford area. The Degenerates have earned numerous accolades including winning The Hartford Advocate Grand Band Slam in 2007, 2006 and 2002, taking second place in 2005 and getting nominated for the Valley Advocate's best cover band in MA. Lead vocalist Mike Tracy garnered honors as the Hartford Advocates Best Male Vocalist in 2007.

The set list which includes top 40, classic rock, alternative and kitschy 80s tunes played with a tongue-in-cheek seriousness that only enhances their arrogant charm, is guaranteed to get any crowd going.
