About Mike The Male Midwife
Local TV approached me to do a little documentary series and I thought why not?
Obviously, as a man, some ladies are not so keen on me checking their bits, but that's just sexist.
In fact my male approach is very useful - I use my humour as a tool to relax the patient. Most ladies are fine with this but I do get the occasional one with hormones, which can be very 'up and down' during the birthing process.
