I am avid fly fisheman whos passion has led to a career as a fisheries biologist. While I have been tying for twenty years including several commercially, it is the fish which I adore. For that reason many of the patterns I tie and post, are based on the premise of creating simple representative flies leaving more time to fish....There is no reasone why a simple pattern can't also be a work of art!
