They are not bother and sister. They are married. They were going through a bad stretch about this time, I suspect because of the sudden crush of notoriety that came with the Rodrigo y Gabriela album, and separated for a while. But they seem to have worked things out since then.

I think they are qualified to teach. It's just that need to stop the spontaneous, spur-of-the-moment lessons. They need to plan carefully their examples and what they're going to say. Writing out a script in advance would help. To me, this is mostly confusing.

@wonderwhaz797 She used to take the lead sometimes, even playing with a pick. No more. But I wouldn't get too overwrought about the apparent inequity. She loves what she does, and most people see her as the real star.
