Musician and entertainer MIKE PETRONE can probably now be called an official Cleveland music institution. February 6th of 2005 he was honored with Mike Petrone Day by Cleveland Mayor Jane Campell for his twenty-five years contributing to the arts in Cleveland. During those 25 years, he has led many of his own bands, written and recorded film scores, written and staged his own musicals and concerts, founded a local jazz and blues record label, and recorded nearly twenty CD's.
