I want to make a room so I used a cube and put the camera and lamp inside; I want the walls in different colors and the floor with hardwood texture. How can I do that; tutorials are confussing me and I followed someones's advice but it does not work and I might be doing it all wrong.

Hi Mike, where people are selling their knowledge like crazy, you take the burden of making and uploading wealth of great tutorials for everybody to learn. I only do this for a hobby, but its great fun, I never thought I could write a program myself and see it working. I can't find the words to express my gratefulness for all this extremely interesting and useful material. I can only encourage you to keep up the good work, thank you very very very much.
