Totally agree, have a 1.8TDCi, 80K miles, original Glo Plugs, all I do is turn Key, Wait for glo light to go out, about 1-2 seconds at 2Deg C, hold foot on Clutch, Hold Foot on accelerator, and it always starts.

All in all, that landing was OK for a student pilot, just remember that , 'Student Pilot'.

This is the First Ever!!!, (Apart From Jets) model aircraft that sounds like the original aircraft. Well Done.
