In existence since 1994 the Sweet Georgia Sound Big Band provides Big Band swing and dance music for weddings, parties, conventions, festivals, galas and other events. Sweet Georgia Sound is regularly featured at the Chattanooga Market and Chattanooga's annual Swingfest event.

Recently the band was honored to be named "Artists of the Week" by the Tennessee Arts Commission. Sweet Georgia Sound is proud to be known as "Chattanooga's Big Band".
