After a long art career of drawing, painting and sculpting in bronze I finally hit upon my art calling. I now concentrate on making one of a kind sculpture combining unique stone with bronze. The stones I use are not carved by other sculptures because of their hardness. Agate, serpentine, and petrified wood, as large as 500 pounds, are some of the stones I carve and shape using diamond saws, diamond drills and diamond polishing pads. One of the most difficult parts of my work is seeing what the stone wants to be. I search for the soul of the stone, carve it to emphasize its beauty and then sculpt the bronze to compliment the stone. It has always been my purpose to create art that has emotional impact and beautifies ones surroundings.

Mike,
Your talents are expanding. I really like the variety you have added with young, old, man, and woman sculptures. Their expressions show a great variation too: tranquil, stoic, proud, even innocense. Some of the chest decorations, robes and hair have quite a striking flair.
Have a great Thanksgiving and give my best to Pam,

Mike,
You got it right with your calling. Exquisite sculptures that your talent expresses in a wonderful combination of beauty, inner pride, strength, and earthiness. Your Native American Theme is a deep appreciation that I have always had.
