About this user
For more than three decades MICHAEL MULVANEY has traveled much of the East Coast performing anywhere people enjoy a great blend of music both old and new. Whether it is a festival, a beach or ski resort, country inn, night club, coffee house, or restaurant, no venue is too small or large for this likeable and easy going music professional. Along the way MICHAEL MULVANEY has been the opening act for such Blues superstars as B.B. King, Willie Dixon, Ko Ko Taylor, and John Hammond. His audience knows him from his powerful vocals and imposing stage presence as he sings an eclectic collection of Rhythm and Blues, Classic Rock, and Chicago Blues. His own original compositions touched with Folk and Country influences are always crowd favorites.
"Goin' Back To Sligo" is my newest album, released on Multone Records September 16, 2009. It contains 8 new original songs and a mix of musicians unique for a Michael Mulvaney recording. It is produced by Paul Brier and mixed at Virginia Arts Studio, but mostly recorded at Jeff Scott Media Studio beginning late last Spring. William Goffigan, Bob Bowen, Lorie Strother, Mark Maynard, and Len Wishart are the new additions
"Dancers On The Sun" is an album Recorded at Virginia Arts Studios, produced by Paul Brier and finished in 2002. One song, One Dollar An Hour will be reviewed soon for a vague possible spot as part of a soundtrack for a Hollywood Movie. Song: Spacy hit the charts in Taiwan and You Got To Be Righteous was sampled and played on Internet Rap Radio. This happened because a pirated copy went out without my permission or release. I consider it my finest achievement to date.
"AIR LAND SEA" contains one new original song and three original arrangements of timeless American Blues classics.
"The Drunken Bicyclemen Of Manteo", "Balloon Man" and "ROAD" are also available at www.michaelmulvaney.com.
