I'm glad it was caught on film. If this cop were like a lot (not all) cops they would have claimed that they were run off the road. I have seen so many cops looking at their laptop in their car when they should be watching the road.

I bet the Truck driver fell asleep. Some states have laws as to how many hours (per day) a truck driver can drive, but greed sometimes gets the best of them. (The more loads they haul in a month, the more money they make)
