My name's Michael, but I like to go by Mike. Music, family, friends, and movies are my life. I couldn't live without those four things. I'm into all kinds of music... seriously. As long as it sounds good, I'm down to listen to it because I'm just open minded when it comes to music and life in general. I just recently graduated high school (Class of '08!) and am now working full time-ish until I start college in January. My hobbies include listening to music, hanging out with friends and cousins, taking pictures (memories last a lifetime), and anything outdoors. There's so much life outside so I HATE when I have to be trapped inside. I enjoy the random moments that life has to offer... those are the best. My favorite artists are Jessica Simpson, Linkin Park, Cobra Starship, and the Jonas Brothers (see how diverse that list is? Haha). I have many more, but those are at the top of my list and I get frustrated when people badmouth any of them because they're all just great people trying to live out their dreams. So watch out, I get a little defensive. lol. The real me though, is a proud Texan with almost too huge of a heart to handle, that's very caring, smart, funny, and friendly. So don't be afraid to hit me up if you want to, I'm super nice. I like listening to people's problems. And call me crazy, but I like to work hard for what I want in life. To me, it's better to earn something than to get lucky at getting it. It makes what you were working hard for all the more valuable, and it makes you a stronger person so you can face anything obstacles in your way. And when I say I have a huge heart, I mean it. I've always had a big heart, but it grew even bigger after working at a non-profit charity organization where we assist people with their bills and provide food for needy families and the homeless population. I've been there for over a year now, and working there, I've grown so much as an individual and have learned a lot. I've learned you have to live every day like it's your last. That may be cliche, but it's so true because you never no what may happen tomorrow. One day, I hope to give back to the community in a big way. That is my goal. There are so many career options with that goal, so I'm undecided right now as to what I want to be, but I have faith that I'll know what my calling is when it hits me. So you--think about what you want in life and what it takes to get it. Then work your way toward your goal with everything you have because anything really is possible in this good ole U.S. of A. That's what I'm going to do, and I'm confident that I will succeed in achieving my goals because I'm very driven and I just want it so bad that I can't fail. I know I have lots potential. I believe everyone is worthy and has something to offer, it's just a matter of working hard to get to your desination in life.

Do something great. BE SOMETHING GREAT.

Okay, I think I've preached just about enough. Haha. That's me in a nutshell...

P.S.-I'm still undecided regarding this upcoming 2008 Presidential Election. I'm definitely leaning towards a certain side, but my decision isn't set in stone just yet.
