I train 3 amazing dogs. We work on behaviour, obedience, agility and just pure fun. Nothing beats playing with my wonderful dogs :). They all rescue/leftover puppies and have all come with a fair amount of baggage, its been a challenge and still is but worth every second.

I am working through there fear issues with positive methods and am learning so much along the way. I am going against what almost everyone is telling me to do and I get more support online than I do from anyone around me, even my parents who all believe in corrections. It is the hardest thing in the world, but my dogs rely on me to train them in a positive, fun way and I will keep fighting for what I believe in.

Ernie - (4 years) - My star. My little know-it-all. My annoying little white thing. The dog that thinks he owns the world. He really is just amazing. Started off being scared of just about everything, having no recall around other dogs and sometimes being aggressive. Wouldn't believe it now :). Hes crazy, loves playing and loves working. Hes good at obedience, but only the waits and stays... heelwork doesnt appeal to him ;). Hes brilliant at agility, but only when he wants to be, moreso when sausage is involved ;). We'll keep trying but its all just fun. Hes happiest when hes got his ball and is running through fields, woods, beaches... just being a terrier :). Hes just Ernie really :).

Indi - (3 years) - My scaredy spaniel. He has taught me more about life, dog training and everything really than anyone ever could. Hes always been scared and reactive around people and other dogs after being attacked, and most methods people told me to use were 'shout', 'squirt water' etc. Yeah, none of them worked for me. So we found a new method, BAT (behaviour adjustment training) that relies on the dog showing a calming signal and being rewarded by going away from the thing there scared of. Hes taught me to fight for what I believe in and to never give up. He keeps giving me new challenges, hes now not doing any sports and were just focusing on behaviour. Plus, hes recently developed a phobia of tunnels and because there agility... hes developed a phobia of agility. So now were just building confidence and having fun. We'll get there. Hes already come so far and taught me so much. As crazy as only a spaniel can be, and as loveable as only Indi can be :).

Kez - (2 years) - We took her on in June 2010, she was fearful, had no trust in anyone and was very stressed. She hated being examined in any way, would bark all the way down the street and would just run (or try to) on sight of another dog. As well as that we've had recall problems due to fear of coming back. Well, in August 2011, just over a year later she has qualified for Crufts 2012 in YKC obedience. She had to hold stays with dogs walking around her and some next to her. I still cant quite believe it. She has come so far, taught me so much and is turning out to be an absolute star in everything. She loves agility, loves obedience and loves tricks. We'll see what the future holds :).

I am no professional trainer. Im just a teenage girl who loves to work with dogs. I love hiking, running and just having fun. I want more people to realise that there is a better way to train dog and my dream is that one day people will listen to me and that I will be able to help people train there dogs in a more positive way :).

I'm nowhere near good yet. Im still learning, and learning all the time. But I will never give up.
