I have a used Emaxx I bought, it has a Novak EVX 14.4v ESC, I am trying to get it to communicate with a brand new Traxxas Receiver 2216 but I can't seem to get the ESC to go into programming mode. Any thoughts?

I have an eMaxx with a Novak EVX 14.4 and a 2216 Traxxas Receiver. I am having trouble getting the Novak to go into program mode. I tried the steps in the manual but the light wont turn on after I push down on the button.

If I turn on the power, the light turns red but it seems to do light blink...

I bought a used Emaxx and I need to setup the 2216 Receiver. I saw a manual that showed three connectors on it, both channel 1 and channel 2 were being used. Chanel 3 and Battery did not have anything in them. What is the correct setup? Where does battery connect, throttle and steering?

We were so lucky to get such a talent for the Munsters show. They really did a great job with the make up, I didn't know until recent that she played the wife of Moses in the 10 Commandments. I had to do a side by side comparison because when she was in the 10 Commandments she was a knock out.
