Thanks LM5 for posting these vids. I always remembered they had great animation (for the time it was astounding), and always wonder what happened to them. Thanks for awakening childhood memories I can share with my kids.

@dudshumane Sure do. I taped many a Stoneman special back in the day. I remember he would either be busy in the can or too stoned to notice the record he was playing had a skip in it and we were featured to the same two lines for 25 minutes. Died in his sleep back in 1984. Damn shame.

The Saturn V is the only American launch vehicle to never have a launch failure. All 13 missions (Apollos 4, 6, 8-17; Skylab) were successfully launched from Cape Kennedy. In that sense, it was the most dependable launch vehicle, but with all that volatile fuel, it was far from the safest.

I saw them in Foxboro, Massachusetts in May of 1994. It was an awesome experience. I had tried to get tickets in 1979 for The Wall at Nassau Coleseum but was shut out. It was worth the 15 year wait. We will never see their like again

Not even close to the worst call in MLB history. Try Don Denkinger's call at first base, Game Six 1985 World Series. Gave the series to the KC Royals.
