M. Barrett Miller, Co-Founder, Managing Director, Western Hemisphere.
While living in Russia, England and Ireland, Mr. Miller traveled extensively throughout Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. During those travels, Mr. Miller had the opportunity to observe and assist people living in extremely difficult conditions. This experience included assisting various organizations in the development of programs to distribute food and educate the poor and disenfranchised.
"Let Kids Be Kids" represents Mr. Miller's belief that students also want to be informed and involved in making our world a better place. Whether it be serving lunches and dinners to the homeless, helping those afflicted with HIV/AIDS, or helping clean up our environment - Mr. Miller is adamant; students want and need to be involved. They know the future of planet earth is in their hands. He insists we must give them the opportunity to voice their concerns and encourage them to actively participate in political, social, educational, environmental, and community service projects.
He is also co founder of a non-profit (Greater Seattle Cares) dedicated to assisting the homeless in making transitions into housing and the workplace.
Mr. Miller has assisted Mr. Graham in Australia, on a number of occasions, supporting his programs with the Cape York Aboriginals.
Interests
Let Kids Be Kids is dedicated to bringing people together with various organizations, and other concerned people, committed to solving some of the challenges we all face today in society with poverty/homelessness, HIV/AIDS and Environmental crisis.
We wish to offer young people,and other concerned people, the opportunity to affect change in society and to create a world where Kids Can Be Kids where they don't have to worry about anything other than enjoying the short time given to them in childhood.
Lower School, Middle School, High School and University students are all welcome to make the connections through service learning and community service to assist with their graduation requirements, as well as their personal ambitions and societal involvement.

In conjunction with our community involvement we also actively seek financial support for various organizations working directly with those challenged by circumstances beyond their control.

We believe that through these experiences we can promote a stronger relationship to academics, critical thinking and the development of our future leaders.
We want to Allow Young People a Voice in the challenges we all face in an ever-changing world.
