MICHIGAN IN THE CIVIL WAR is the 25th documentary created by veteran producers and directors, Al & David Eicher. The 93 minute presentation follows a timeline of Michigan's
participation in events leading up
to the war and through its conclusion. More than 150 libraries, historical societies
and individual researchers contributed photos and information.
The National Archives, Brady Collection and Harper's Weekly were also used. We greatly acknowledge the participation and cooperation of many re-enactors throughout Michigan who helped make this production possible. A special thanks to the Historic Fort Wayne Coalition, Huron City Museums and the troops at the Cascades Civil War Muster.
