About Me:
I work in my recording studio in Genova where I also hold private lessons.
I'm official endorser of Mama Pickups, a renowned Italian trademark in the production of handcrafted guitar and bass pickups.
I' m glad to announce that I am the new guitarist in the International Deep Purple Tribute Band PURPENDICULAR - which is much more than a tribute - with my new Colleagues playing with the likes of all Deep Purple members.
The band new line-up is:
Robby Thomas Walsh on vocals
Simon Radner on bass
Bernhard Welz on drums
Christoph Kögler on keyboards
Michele Cusato on guitar
Bernhard Welz on Drums has played with Jon Lord, Don Airey Band, Steve Morse, Steve Lukather, Whitesnake, Toto e Pink Floyd.
The other guys have played with Joe Lynn Turner as well as the legendary Ian Paice on several tours.
We will start our 'Machine Head Tour' in January 2012 in Germany, then in Austria and in many other countries including Russia, France, Bulgaria. This Tour will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the classic album 'Machine Head'.
I am currently working on my first solo CD, writing and creating almost everyday.
It will mainly be instrumental rock music and it will include "New Day", "Texas Ride", "Over the Cloud" as well as "Heartland".
In 2005 I founded the Michele Cusato Band. With this band I opened the Scott Henderson Blues Band live show at Sori Jazz Festival 2008.
I have also played with X-Press Quintet with a Jazz/Fusion repertoire. Always on the occasion of Sori Jazz Festival 2008, with this band I opened the concert of the legendary drummer Peter Erskine.
I played in a Stars Band. This band takes her name from the many live shows held with famous Italian guest Stars, such as: Umberto Smaila, Franco Oppini, Ugo Conti, Mauro Di Francesco, Fiordaliso, Andrea Roncato, Maria Teresa Ruta and many others.
I am also working on various music projects in USA.
I am collaborating with Mitch Stewart from Circle II Circle taking part to his project "Never Kings" started out with fellow band members.
