Michael Waldrop is a percussionist and composer who is currently professor of percussion at Eastern Washington University. He freelances with many artists, plays with his own groups and records in various settings as a both leader and sidemen. He can be heard on two CD's with the Grammy award nominated One O'Clock Lab Band. 3 CD's with the Spokane based Bob Curnow big band. He has also recorded chamber music for percussion by percussionist composer Gordon Stout as well as Memphis based composer Jack Cooper.
