Hello and welcome to my YouTube channel. My name is Michael T. Makahamadze, and I am the creator and blogger at http://www.MichaelTMak.com

I am a MLM home business owner, building my business, leveraging blogs, social media and the search engines. Through this YouTube channel, I'm dedicated to providing you with information, tips and strategies to help you build your home business utilizing blogs, social media and search engines.

If you will allow me a few minutes of your time, I will tell you a bit about myself...

I love life, learning and discovering new truths. WHY??? Because I believe that discovery fuels growth, which is the basis for all achievement.

I'm an advocate for empowerment, and I like reading.....mostly personal development stuff and marketing material.

Basketball is one of my favourite sports to watch & play. During the summer, I ALWAYS find time to "shoot hoops". I'm also an Aikido enthusiast, though I am yet to find my footing in this area.

Winter's not my favourite time of the year (weather-wise) so you'll most likely find me hibernating like a bear.

I got involved in the Network Marketing industry in 2008, and immediately got to building my business as advised by my upline.......using belly-to-belly and traditional MLM business-building methods.

I tried getting family and friends into my business. I tried getting acquaintances and strangers into my business. I basically tried as much as possible to get the word out about my business using any means necessary.

I fell flat on my face and failed miserably!

I don't quit though, so I knew I had to keep going. Insanity, however, is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting a different outcome. So I knew something had to be different.

Chasing after all those people (family, friends, strangers) made me realise one important fundamental truth:

Rather than chase people and hammer my message into them, it would make more sense and would be way easier to find out what they wanted, and give it to them in a manner that would make them find me!

Now, that's a total shift in the way a home business is usually built. Instead of being the hunter, you become the hunted.

I thought to myself.....If I can make this work, then:
1. No more cold-calling.
2. No more wasting time chasing after people who are not interested in what I have to offer.
3. No more worrying about pestering anyone and everyone I knew.
4. No more running out of people to talk to about my home business.

Around the same time, I was introduced to inbound marketing and internet network marketing. Then, it became apparent that people's buying habits (in general), had changed.

People's fist point of contact when buying anything were the search engines. They first looked for information and reviews. They turned to social media and networking sites to find out what their friends and connections thought about products or services. Product and all sorts of recommendations also came from people on the social media sites.

In advertising, the money goes where the eyeballs are. Those eyeballs are now in the social media sphere, the blogosphere, and all over the search engines.

Big businesses, as well as traditionally "Old-school" businesses are now leveraging blogs, social media and search engines in expanding their reach. As a Network Marketing business entrepreneur, I took heed and started implementing similar strategies in building my home business, leveraging blogs, search engines and social media.

If a president can win an election by spreading his message through blogs, social media sites and the search engines, then MLM home business owners should find a way to spread their message through similar channels.

Network Marketing is a relationship-based business, and I believe blogs, social media and search engines can help business owners expand their reach and connect with more people, thus building and expanding their businesses.

These strategies and concepts that I learnt, and continue to learn, I share with other home business owners.

My goal is to help as many Network Marketing entrepreneurs get empowered, so they can leverage blogs, social media and the search engines, in building their MLM businesses profitably.

I believe each woman and man has a gold mind waiting to be unleashed. Empowering Network Marketing home business owners through blogging, social media and search engine marketing training is my way of helping MLM entrepreneurs tap into their gold minds and reach their full potential.
