Russia, at that time was America's big rivals. In nuclear armament and in the Space race. Russia beat America in many of the first stages. 1. Getting a man out of Earth's atmosphere. 2. First man walking outside a Spacecraft that was out of the Earth's atmosphere. My point is, Russia and America spent thousands upon thousands of man hours experimenting and testing for getting to the Moon. When America got there first, Russia knew America had done it. With all the political spin and propaganda available, Russia NEVER once said that the moon landing were fake. If America's cold war space race rivals can accept it that you should try and accept it too.
