Michael Holgate has spent over fifteen years exploring hte world of theatre, dance, music, film and writing. He holds a BA (English) and an MPhil (Cultural Studies) from the University of the Westi Indies. he is a lecturer in Caribbean Folk and Traditional dance as well as Edutainment Theatre. Holgate is Creative Director of the performing arts troupe ASHE and has toured the world extensively as a performer, director and workshop facilitator. His novel NIGHT OF THE INDIGO, published by Macmillan Caribbean in the Island Fiction series is his first novel.
